About Us

Clarence Primary School is situated in Greyville, Durban. It has a strong history having celebrated its centenary in 2005. There are almost one thousand, two hundred children in the school ranging from Reception class to Grade 7, including two LSEN classes.

Our learners are empowered and reflect in a microcosm of Durban's population. The diversity of our school certainly supports our ethos and makes for a solid foundation for our learners while allowing them to become enriched from each other. Our school has a structured EQ programme in place which runs throughout their curriculum. This equips our children with the life skills that are so needed by our young people in South Africa. We want our children to leave our school with a passion for life and for making the right choices.
