CPS learners take 1st place

13 August 2025.

WE ARE SUPER PROUD.

Two of our Clarence Primary School learners have achieved remarkable success at the recent Circuit Level Elocution Contest 2025, held at Gordon Road Girls’ School this morning, 13 August 2025..

Kaleb Weldeab from Grade R and Qhawelihle Mabuza from Grade 2M both won their respective categories here at Clarence Primary, earning them the honour of representing our school at Gordon Road Girls’ School for the circuit round.

Kaleb, competing in the Poetry Recital division against seven schools, impressed the judges with his delivery and expression, securing first place after a highly competitive round.

Qhawelihle, competing in the Sight Reading category also against seven schools, showcased confident delivery, clear articulation, and excellent reading skills, which earned him first position at circuit level.

Both learners will now advance to represent our circuit at district level.

We are extremely proud of their achievements and wish them every success as they continue to shine.
